CLIPART in Word 2003

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR CLIPART BY FORMATTING IT.
TO FORMAT YOUR CLIPART, RIGHT-CLICK ON THE PICTURE,
AND THE FOLLOWING PANEL WILL SHOW UP:

CLICK ON FORMAT PICTURE.
AFTER YOU CLICK ON FORMAT PICTURE, THIS PANEL WILL APPEAR:

CLICK ON LAYOUT > TIGHT > OK.
YOU CAN NOW DRAG YOUR PICTURE TO ANY LOCATION ON YOUR PAGE,
AND IT WILL STAY THERE. TEXT WILL WRAP AROUND THE PICTURE.

 

 

Insert clip art in Word 2010

On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Clip Art.

 Note   Some commands shown are not available in Word Starter.

In the Clip Art task pane, in the Search for text box, type a word or phrase that describes the clip art that you want, or type in all or some of the file name of the clip art.

To modify your search, do one or both of the following:

To expand your search to include clip art on the Web, click the Include Office.com content checkbox.

To limit the search results to a specific media type, click the arrow in the Results should be box and select the check box next to Illustrations, Photographs, Videos, or Audio.

Click Go.In the list of results, click the clip art to insert it.

To resize clip art, select the clip art you've inserted in the document. To increase or decrease the size in one or more directions, drag a sizing handle away from or toward the center, while you do one of the following:

To keep the center of an object in the same location, press and hold CTRL while you drag the sizing handle.

To maintain the object's proportions, press and hold SHIFT while you drag the sizing handle.

To both maintain the object's proportions and keep its center in the same location, press and hold both CTRL and SHIFT while you drag the sizing handle.

 

Insert an Image From Your Computer Word 2013

If you have a picture on your computer, flash drive, saved off of the Internet, or on a CD, you can insert it straight into your document.

1. Click or tap in your document where you want the image placed.

2.  Click the Pictures button on the Insert tab in the Illustrations section. The Insert Picture dialog box opens.

3.  Navigate to the location of the saved images, such as My Pictures on your hard drive or a CD.

4.  Click on the image you want to use to select it.

5.  Click the Open button. Your chosen image is inserted into your document.

 

 

 

Insert a Picture From An Online Source Word 2013

 

If you have a picture that you have rights to use online,such as Flicr or your Facebook page,or images stored on your SkyDrive, Word 2013 lets you insert straight from the source. This means that you no longer have to download an image to use in your document.

1.  Click or tap in your document where you want the image placed.

2.  Click the Online Pictures button on the Insert tab in the Illustrations section. The Insert Pictures dialog box opens.

3.  Type a word or phrase that describes the image you want in the Office.com, Bing, or SkyDrive field and press Enter

4.  Click on the image you want to use to select it.

5.  Click the Insert button. Your chosen image is inserted into your document.

 

Insert an Image From Clip Art

Microsoft Word provides images that you can use, free of charge, called clip art. Clip art can be a cartoon, a picture, a border, and even an animation that moves on the screen. All Clip Art in Word 2013 is available on line and is not stored on your PC. This gives you the ability to insert Clip Art on any device, not just your computer.

1.  Click or tap in your document where you want the image placed.

2.  Click the Online Pictures button on the Insert tab in the Illustrations section. The Insert Pictures dialog box opens.

3.  Type a word or phrase that describes the image you want in the Office.com field and press Enter

4.  Click on the image you want to use to select it.

5.  Click the Insert button. Your chosen image is inserted into your document.
